Change in Song

Originally I started with the song 'You don't have to take your clothes off' a cover from Ella Eyre. I have now changed this idea as I feel my new song lyrics are more appropriate.

• Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Want to have fun

I come home in the morning light
My mother says when you gonna live your life right
Oh mother dear we're not the fortunate ones
And girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun

The phone rings in the middle of the night
My father yells what you gonna do with your life
Oh daddy dear you know you're still number one
But girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have

That's all they really want
Some fun
When the working day is done
Girls - they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun

Some boys take a beautiful girl
And hide her away from the rest of the world
I want to be the one to walk in the sun
Oh girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have

That's all they really want
Some fun
When the working day is done
Girls - they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun,
They want to have fun,
They want to have fun...

The lyrics are a representation of my music video as I will be using memories of my life, in other words (FUN TIMES). However the Cindi Lauper song has a very fast tempo and for my video I would prefer a slower tempo. I have chosen two covers of this song and have posted them on Facebook to receive audience feedback.

"For my media studies I am creating a music video. The video will centre around my life hence my choice of song 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun'. I would appreciate it if people commented which song they prefer. Thanks"

The two covers are by
